Frequently asked questions
ORIGINAL WORK
All pieces are designed and handcrafted by me in my studio. Everything in my shop is made by hand, one at a time, using my own forms, stamps, and sculpting techniques.
Studio & Process
Where is your studio located?
I am based in the heart of Franschhoek, Western Cape. My work is deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the valley. Every piece is an original work, designed and handcrafted in my local studio using porcelain and my own custom sculpting techniques.
Can I visit the studio?
As my studio is a working space where I handle delicate porcelain and firing cycles, visits are currently by appointment only. Please reach out via the contact form if you would like to arrange a private viewing of my vases and sculptures.
Orders & Logistics
How long does production take?
Most porcelain pieces are made to order to ensure the highest quality. My current lead time is 2–4 weeks before an item is ready for shipping. For immediate gifts, please browse the SHOP section for ready-to-ship items.
Do you ship within South Africa and internationally?
Yes! I ship nationwide across South Africa and to collectors worldwide. I take immense care in the "Made with Care" process—personally glazing, photographing, and packing each piece securely to ensure your porcelain arrives safely.
Custom Work & Pricing
Do you accept commissions or custom orders?
I enjoy creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces for local and international clients. Whether it is a specific sculpture or a commemorative vase, feel free to reach out to discuss your ideas and my current availability.
How is your work priced?
Prices reflect the premium nature of porcelain, the cost of local materials, and the extensive hours required for hand-sculpting and firing. I offer a range of decorative pieces at various price points.
